The dog went apeshit last night while he was doing his business, and stayed out until around 0330.

Opened the patio door blinds this morning and saw this

Guess that was what had his attention. Figured I'd get around to tossing it over the fence (into the farm field) later.

Later on I look out and see a huge black mass over where it was laying. Look out the patio door and there's this huge vulture on it. It heard/saw me slide the blinds out of the way when I went to grab a pic and flew off. Guess it's time to toss it.

Tool for this tasks. My "Official" Grim-Shovel-of-Death. Many mammals have carried into the next life upon it's blade. Possums, ground hogs, mice, and the occasional bird as well.

This was a big one.

Now he's fertilizing the field or lunch for the vultures.

So, was it a chupacabra?

Definitely belongs to the marsupial family...something like a badger?

It also could be a wolverine. Did you shoot it with your 12 guage?

I tried to grab one of him while I was out, but he was running around a brush pile and kept moving.

Thanks to your razor-sharp photography, I feel safe suggesting that it's either an opossum or a Panda bear...

That right there is a genuine North American Splay-Toed Boulder Packing Speckled Panda Frog.

Endangered, too. The wardens have been notified.

I'm on board with Capt. Mac.

Course, it could still be a mattayoo.

While it looks like a possum, it must be a chupacabre as they are in their molting season and are vulnerable.

That be a possum. There are everywhere. Well almost everywhere.... not in my yard. My wolf hybrids cleaned they all out. The big P is slow mentally, but not that stupid to hang around with wolfs.

Nuturea (spelling?) are fun to watch get tossed too.
