I took my 6 yr. old son and my 11 yr. old daughter out today for the first time shooting. I've been teaching them on a red ryder in the back yard for the last 6 months or so and felt they are finally ready. I let them shoot my 10/22, my AR with a .22 conversion and my 22/45. Found out the 10/22 is still too long, and the 22/45 is a little heavy for my daughter. The AR worked out pretty well. It is still a little heavy for them but they shot it off the bench and had a blast today. Just thought I'd share some pics.
