Hey der!

Where is the best place to get the PSP in a bundle that has a game(or two) for a seven year old?  I know of gamestop/walmart/amazon etc, am I missing someplace?

Any game recommendations?

Thanks...

How old are they? I wouldn't really recommend the PSP for kids. It's pretty fragile and can get easily broken, not to mention the games are made for an older audience, a DS would be a better choice.

He is seven years old and as clumsy as a seven year old!  I liked the fact that the psp plays movies, can the ds do that?

Well, if you want movies the PSP is a good choice. Don't buy new UMD movies for it though, buy them cheap from Gamestop. Also buy an extra protective shell for the PSP like this.

I'm not aware of any kids bundles for the PSP right now, but if you do buy one, get an extended warranty of some sort for it too, as the LCD screen can easily be broken if it's dropped. Also, here is a good list of recommended PSP games. You can buy them cheap on eBay or Gamestop.

They're all the same price, I bought mine at BestBuy.

It's a fun little system, worth the price IMO.

Make  sure you buy the PSP 3000 and not the PSP GO. Make sure.

I LOVE the Logitech case! That thing is rock solid.

As for games, I got a lot of good info here too:

I didn't buy the warranty, and have had no troubles... but it's probably a good idea to get it on a kid's unit.

We bought the warranty last year, and have used it twice because the games locked up and quit working.
