I generally run all of the 4 seperate routes to and from work....the town I live in gave up its neghborhood watch program....I tend to be driving by at all hours....and will call if I see something out of the ordinary.

The neighbors seem to appreciate it.....at least the older folks do....they drop off produce....

a hobby....you need one

Sometimes I go to the driveway to get the paper before I start the coffee. If I'm really feeling crazy, I'll move the computer from my office to the deck, or breakfast bar.

I have 7 different routes that I use, and I don't follow any kind of pattern. I may go the same way for 2 weeks straight, then not go that way again for 3 months.
Link Posted: 9/5/2010 3:45:25 PM EDT
I work all over so my route varies without me trying.
Link Posted: 9/5/2010 3:46:20 PM EDT
I also change up the time i leave the house and get back, not because I think about it but just not concerned about punctuality.
Link Posted: 9/5/2010 3:46:56 PM EDT
Depends the time of day and traffic.

Three routes,
Link Posted: 9/5/2010 3:48:15 PM EDT
I cant- only one way to and from work and I cross a bridge over water to get there...
Link Posted: 9/5/2010 3:50:16 PM EDT
Been doing almost the same commute for 20 years. Tried all the different routes when I was younger. Now I get on I-5 and it is what it is. Seemed like all those other routes ended up taking damn near as long anyway.
Link Posted: 9/5/2010 3:50:21 PM EDT
No. One road.

Only other options flight, boat, or bushwhack.
Link Posted: 9/5/2010 3:53:09 PM EDT
Only if i need to avoid traffic.

This,

I do. Variety is the spice of life.

...and the easy way to tell if I'm being tailed.

No not that paranoid. I do make sure that if I have a significant other living with me, that they have a parking space close to the house and in the light.

Currently no womenz living with me, just staying over occasionally, so I don't really give a fuck if anyone knows I'm home or not.

I have two routes to the university, the same distance each, that I like to take to break up the monotony.
Link Posted: 9/5/2010 4:12:54 PM EDT
Same route every day for me.
Link Posted: 9/5/2010 4:15:02 PM EDT

I used to, but don't bother anymore with one exception.

If I have to work on Halloween, I like to take the shortcut through the grounds of the abandoned mental hospital.

I have 3 major routes, 6 total when I actually drive around backwards just to double check that no one is following me as mirrors can not be trusted..............
Link Posted: 9/5/2010 4:16:47 PM EDT
Only if i get blocked by a damn train.

The bathroom hasn't moved in 20 years.
Link Posted: 9/5/2010 4:20:17 PM EDT
Kind of tough for that here. Two routes to take, north side of river or south, minimum distance between bridges is 15 miles and only one road north to south 40 miles from I 5.

Link Posted: 9/5/2010 4:21:13 PM EDT
Pussies.

I move once to twice a month.
Link Posted: 9/5/2010 4:26:37 PM EDT
If followed, I bring straight home and offer to make them coffee.
Our dog loves making new friends...
Link Posted: 9/5/2010 5:15:50 PM EDT
I'm not afraid of being followed....but just to keep aprised of what's going on around the area.

I like to know of the conditions of the roads....construction going on in the neghborhood....vehicles in the area....etc.

Not paranoid....just observant....

Only 2 routes I can take and one is closed for the next 6 months. So it looks like my ambushers will find me. Time to uparmor my camaro.
Link Posted: 9/5/2010 5:20:43 PM EDT
I don't worry about it.

I either take the front or the back stairs after checking the night vision cameras for any unusual movement and letting the dog go first, I am always armed with my hand on my weapon as a make the journey

Do you have a remote car starter as well?

Sometimes I walk through the living room instead of the kitchen to my home office. Squirrel army hasn't caught on yet.

I wish somone would follow me home, I havent been to the range in a long while :(
Link Posted: 9/5/2010 5:26:25 PM EDT
4 routes. It depends on whether I want to put up with idiot drivers on the most direct route.
Link Posted: 9/5/2010 5:30:11 PM EDT
Let's take it easy. Nobody on arfcom is assassin worthy.

Sorry. Now go back to cooking bacon.
Link Posted: 9/5/2010 5:34:11 PM EDT
my house, and my neighbors housed were cased a few years back. My alarm siren kept them at bay (should have put alarm signs up, I was going for the element of surprise). Can't say the same for my neighbor.

I try to vary leave and arrival times. not route though.

We need some counter casing tips (getting counter intel on the fools trying to get intel on us!)

Not usually to work, but I rarely go the same home way twice in a row
Link Posted: 9/5/2010 5:49:33 PM EDT
I work 120 yds behind my house...I can walk or drive.
Link Posted: 9/5/2010 5:50:41 PM EDT
46 routes - or double that if I drive in reverse...
Link Posted: 9/5/2010 5:53:45 PM EDT
Obvious paranoia is obvious....
Link Posted: 9/5/2010 6:03:10 PM EDT
If you encounter a threat on one of your routes one day,

do you ever use that route again?

I dunno.....never encountered a "threat"......more than kids tossing rocks at an old out building.....and a vagrent coming out of a barn.

Never ran into anything that would make me change my travel plans.
Link Posted: 9/5/2010 6:22:41 PM EDT
Nope. I drive the same 9 miles coming and going. I'm not an important enough target.
