I'm looking for large 3X2 or so hard (metal, Aluminum or hard palstic) box for Ammunition storage. Has to be day box and I'm hoping to be able to lock it. For last several years I stored my ammo in garage but living in Florida and humidity did its toll. I'm starting to see more and more rust on my casing. I hoping to by something to store it for long. What I'm looking is large steel box, like we used in ARMY for personal storage (chest).
Any idea who is selling that stuff?

Make your own out of wood.

Line the inside with neoprene or a similar waterproof material...even plastic will work.

What's wrong with ammo cans? Throw a dessicant packet into each can and you're good to go.

I bought a shit ton of them on my last Ammo To Go order.

Keeps your ammo portable for a move/SHTF, it's already boxed up for a range trip, tight seal and gives your room that Burt Gummer ambiance, which drives ladies wild.

Rigid job box. Big orange one at Home Depot=$259. Mine is full and it would take 3 grown men and a fat boy to move it.

Here's my Wreck Room after the move.

It's organized now, but still a work in progress.

If you look closely, the entire floor is covered with them. The ones on the shelf are full. The ones overing the floor (with misc. shit on top of them) are in the process of being filled.

...and that's not all of them.

"Arsenal". Pffft.

[joker]Wait'll they get a load of me.[/joker]

I'd suggest you do NOT want "air tight". You do want some airflow.

We have a winner.  Look on craigslist locally for 'job box'.  I acquired my Rigid job box used for $100.  New they go for $300-$400.   I currently have around ~35-40 ammo cans sitting in mine with room for quite a few more.

Negative, Ghost Rider. Those cans are full.

That ain't no particle board POS from Ikea. That sumbitch was made with real wood by American hands.
