I downloaded it and got the blue marble .jpg's I'd like to try and get something working like you have because it is so cool [:D] Thanks Download the windows version of Xplanet, then run the winXPlanetBG.exe program. Make sure you select the "winXPlanetBG at startup: yes" option, then tweak the rest of the options until the result appeals to you. To get the current cloud cover, just click the "download now" button. The default settings should be enough to do what you want. I've been tempted to load this on my firewall though, just so I can get the WHOLE Xplanet experience (the unix version is actually interactive!) |
