Please go to the Airline Pilots Security Alliance website at

of their home page.

It is a petition to Congress and the President to support implementing
the  armed pilot program.

We have 2 weeks to get the maximum number of signatures.

These will be downloaded and taken to Congressman Mica (Chair for
Aviation  Sub Committee), who will be holding a hearing on or about
May 2nd specifically on the issue of arming pilots.

Not sure its a good idea.

I thought on-line petitions were bogus, but I actually saw a reference to this petition on the scroll bar of CNN.  Imagine!

Did you sign the petitions a couple years back to arm K-12 school teachers too?

Being armed is a personal choice, nobody signed a petition for me. I just hope people who are responsible and are trained do what's right for them and have the freedom to have firearms as a defense option.

How about bus drivers?
