The first gun (AR-70, correct?) reminds me of the movie "Heat".

Stubbs, the first one is a FN FNC, with the shorter  44.9 cm barrel. The weapon in Heat was i guess the law enforcement semiauto version of the FNC, the Model 7030, which hasn´t received a great deal of users.

Since i already started teasing you guys, so ill go on, there were a FEW FNCs for sale here about 4 years ago, pricetag was a whopping 1071 dollars.

The second photo is what happens when you shoot heavy (68gr) rounds out of the 1 in 12" twist of some FNC's.  The first photo is the "new" FNC.  The second one was fired using the "old" FNC that I got converted.  

I assume you are getting yours converted???
