I may show up. I've got a car show to attend on Sunday, so I may be too busy on Saturday to make it down.
We'll see though. My wife was just commenting that we hadn't been to a gun show in a while. |

I finally got a Saturday off when there is a gunshow. I think I'll drag the wife with me.
I need some ammo for the Houston area shoot coming up the 20th of this month. |

And now for some more Houston Gun show good news: The Houston Gun Collectors Association (HGCA), which formerly held shows in the AstroHall, will be moving to the new "Reliant Center" [b] and will now be carrying ammo![/b]
When HGCA was in the AstroHall they never did carry ammo. HGCA is Houston's biggest gun show. Oh, the next HGCA show is on June 1 & 2. CMOS |

I just got back from the show. I bought 1100 rounds of Q3131A for $177.00, 2 Winchester double gun hard case for the BRC for $100.00 each, some fishing lures for my sons.
The show was great, not to big, not to small. GIB [sniper] |

I didn't have that much luck, but was looking for some specific things. I walked out with a couple of bricks of Federal slugs for my new shotty, but that's about it.
I guess I'll wait until the next HGCA to get anything new. |

Hello GIB, I met you at the ammo table. I want to thank you for your time and wisdom. I picked up a case of Q3131A myself, along with two 30rd OKay mags @ 12.00 and a 50 cal ammo can.

brouhaha, I forgot to mention. I also picked up a pack of 50 stripper clips @ 6.00 and a pack of 3 loaders @ 2.00. All new.

Hey! I also bought a .50 can & a 12 dollar mag. I personally thought the show sucked ass. One guy trying to sell a complete Ess. Arms preban for 900 got pissed when one dude asked how he could be sure it was a verified preban. Too many pushy a-holes who won't step aside when you say "excuse me" so you can also peek at something... I bought a 50-pack of Greek green tip SS109 that the guy told me was "armor piercing." Seeing as how I was in a good mood I didn't rip him a new one... I really wanted to get some spare AR parts but there was nothing really there. Might go back tomorrow for an Enfield I saw. Highlight was a COMPLETELY wasted asian guy trying to talk to one of the ammo vendors about some new ammo from Corbon. Ammo guy looked like he was about to kill the drunk. Oh, also, WTF is wrong w/ some of these vendors? They don't take credit or checks & the ATM will only give you 200 bucks. Do they expect you to to just walk around carrying a grand in cash?
