Got hosed on back taxes (previous owner-long story), looks like I'll have to sell a gun to pay the taxes due. Anyway, this is an unfired Rem. 700 w/Leupold Vari-X III 3.5-10 X 40 mil-dot (non-AO) scope w/Leupold rings, two piece mount. There are two very small nicks (one on triggerguard, one on mag plate). And I put a scuff on the scope tube when I installed it, but it's not visible (hidden by ring). Given that it is unfired and the 3 uh-ohs I described, what should I ask for this? Editted to add: has Butler Creek flip up scope covers and a swivel model Harris 9-13" height bipod.

Throw me a bone or something. I have no idea what to ask for this. I DO know it's worth more than the $600.00 that was quoted me at a store.... $900.00 unrealistic? Everthing was brand new when I put it on there.

Thanks Beekeeper. That's the kind of info I needed. [beer] I have a little while to raise some cash so selling will be a last resort. But if worse comes to worse... Just don't want to sell for too big of a loss.
