Uh, not to make you feel even worse, but did you see the expose on the food workers who, uh, scratched themselves, pottied sans washing, spat, and other nasties, before and during the preparation of food? I think about it every single time I order anything that comes in a bag, or on a tray. [puke]
I hope you do get to feeling better, in spite of my less than sensitive contribution here. [:D] Take care. |

Gestation for many virii is several days or longer. You may carry it around for several weeks, but not start having symptoms until your immune system becomes weak (for any number of reasons).

Yesterday I was so sick I could barely stand up. First was the gobs and gobs of green tinged mucous oozing out of my nose and I was coughing up. 4 heavy blankets but still not enough to stop the chills. Body aches so bad that no matter what position I tried to lay in I couldn't sleep longer than 10 minutes. Then painful neck muscle spasms and my back hurt like hell. I thought for a while I had gone from flu to meningitis (I almost did call 911). This morning is the first time in 2 days that I have been able to eat anything solid.

Man, just get off yer ass and see the doc. He'll probably give you antibiotics to help get the cheese out of yer lungs. In the mean time, bed rest, fluids, maybe some tylenol for the sore neck, and that's about all you can do. |
