he doesn't need a gun to protect his family thats what the police are there for. I am sure that if you were to call the cops when a crazed gunman was trying to break in your window, that they would certainly be there on time to save the day.

next thing you know he'll be trying to make an excpeption in his states law to allow him to buy an evil assault rifle to protect himself.

you know what I always say, take away everyones guns so that when an armed criminal who doesn't listen to the law tries to kill him and his family he can cower in the corner and cry, just remember it for the children [:)]

They did a telephone interview with him about the propossed bullet tax on CNN news yesterday.  Besides the usual inanities the commentator asked (paraphrased) "Don't you think the tax is too steep for the .22s used by the average law abiding target shooter versus the .357s and AKs used by the criminal?"

It occurs to me that criminals don't buy that much ammunition, it's hobby shooters such as ourselves.  So this is another proposed tax on law abiding citizens, intended to fix a non-problem resulting from the misdeeds of a tiny fraction of society.  Situation Normal, All Fucked Up.
