Did he "kill" them as in lock them, or did he delete them?  Locking is fairly common for Conduct Code violations.  Deleting is extremely rare.  Paul is reasonable and has unlocked threads after a brief discussion via e-mail.  You might try an off-the-board e-mail, as suggested by FMJunkie.

I found a bunch of old threads by you-check search, the most recent is Feb or so-don't go half cocked; e-mail 'em and find out what's up first. Sometimes people think things are deleted when they are not [:D]

Just 'cause you started the thread doesn't mean it was deleted/moved/whatever as a reflection on you, if other people are jerks on your thread out it goes-The guy who was posting about Google refusing his business had two drunk dingbats hijack the thread overnight and threaten to beat each other etc. I think it was locked, but certainly no reflection on him was intended.

E-mail Paul or Goatboy and relax, presumably these people have jobs and will take awhile to get back to you. It is just a website y'know [:D]

The "F" is that the posts are alive and well living in the moderator's forum where such postings are kept. The staff and other moderators can look them over and can have them moved out if another feels that the posts were moved in without cause.

The posts had run their course and were both in clear violation of the forum rules. No really.

I do not make the rules only get paid the big bucks and the corner office to enforce them.

Within one thread people were warned to not use racial comments. Yet they continued to use racial slurs. These people are not ignorant, they're just plain stupid. To these people everyone from Turkey to Afghanistan to Saudi Arabia out to India are terrorist and we need to be killing them. The ranting of such people are not worthy of polluting up this place. I can come up with a hundred names for the pricks who murdered 2800 plus inocent Americans on September 11 2001 but don't have to go racial to express my hate and discontent.

MAC your comment was edited as per normal SOP and you were given the reason why your racial slur was removed. No biggie, it happens a few times a week here. The issue really wasn't with you all all but those that were posting on the thread and that's why you weren't notified about the further violations.

Most of the flame war was just that and again - the forum really doesn't need any more flames (like this one).

It was you in the second thread that identified the original thread as a "flame war" which generally means the thread as gone from being about your enlistment and into one of name calling and such entertainment.

The issue with the second post was the discussion then became me rather than the posting in violation and again those with the tiny IQ's and the big keyboards started ranting about the use of popular racial slurs. We went though this on September 11th people, honest. I really have a tough skin and really could give a flying "F" [:)] about what such people think about the moderators enforcing the rules. This thread will join the other flames of me and the other moderators and live a long and fruitful life ... and I will continue to enjoy the site.

If there is a problem with understanding the forum conduct rules then I can help in understanding them. If there is a problem with the rule itself then it needs to take it up with the boss, Goatboy. If the problem is that me or another moderator is enforcing the rules that we agree upon as a common set of guidelines then your not going to find anyone to help you here so move along please.
