Damn, I got web porn saved on my computer from as far back as 1994 when I first got on the web. Some of the sites no longer exist, others have gone to charging (ah, the days when porn was almost always free).
Dude, get a copy of Ontrack EasyRecovery and install it on another computer, hook the 2 computers together with a hub, switch, or crossover cable. Now, go to run and type \\~Computer's Name~\C$\Program Files\Ontrack\~rest of address~ Have it scan your hard drive, then send the recovered files to the share on the other system \\~Computer Name~\C$\recovered_porn. Now, burn to a CD and mail to me. E-mail me for an address. Or, if you have a Broadband connection, install IIS and set up the home directory of you Default Web Site to your recovered porn directory. Then, click to allow anonymous access, then select your IP Addy from the list and email me you IP addy. If your ISP doesn't allow servers change the port number to 8080. |

I applaud your decision. After all, everyone one of them was "somebody's little girl." But keep in mind - Scripturally, the "Lord of life" will NOT "pass you by" in the salvation sense, because of indulgence in porn. Salvation is effected by Jesus Christ thru faith. Once saved, indulgence in porn only serves to displease the one who "loved us and gave Himself for us." If we love Him, we will keep His commandments (thru His power, to the best of our ability.) |

I applaud your decision to nuke the crap off your computer. It has been my sad experience to witness several times the destructive results of this addiction.
Not going to say much more about it other than garandman is right. Jesus will not pass you by over this, all it takes is personally resting in the facts of who He is and what He did for you. I accidently found a box of my dad's porn cached in a closet when I was 11 years old looking for old toys. It changed my life, stole my innocence, corrupted my whole view of women, sex, and caused me years of pain. But God forgave, and restored, and is still restoring, and now I am blessed with a beautiful wife who is loving, understanding, patient, and a little 5 year old boy. And I am going to protect his innocence and prepare him for the snares out there the best I can. And if anyone ever shows my boy porn you don't want to know what I will do. This stupid justification of porn enrages me. It is the epitomy of all the selfish, self centered, self indulgent behavior that is taking our country down the sewer. And I was part of it for a long time. But that is the cost of living in a free society, I wouldn't want to change that but that doesn't mean I, a free American can't call it what it is. It's CRAP!!! Alan Keys said it best on this subject. We are free to choose our behavior, but we are not free to choose the conequences of our behavior. Given that most of the civilized world acknowledges that the sex drive is one of the strongest desires in mankind, it is playing with fire to inflame it with porn, with no legitimate means of satisfying the desire. It would be like chambering a round in a rifle, with the safety off, in a crowded room. Nothing beneficial is going to happen - only bad things.
