I must have missed the part of the new testament about not owning semi automatic military rifles to shoot coke cans and watermelons on Saturday morning, but I kind of skimmed Mark in catechism class.
It burns when self righteous people decide I don't like=Jesus wouldn't. |

Gee I guess that means Jesus wouldn't approve of the Easter bunny also.
I mean what does the Easter bunny have to do with Jesus rising from the tomb? |

I used to go rabbit hunting on Easter. People thought I was nuts.
As far as making a profit on Easter - shame on all those stores for stocking up on eggs and dye kits! Shame on churches for passing the plate around on this holy day! Give me a break. |

I have to ask you guys......
When you read those thing sally-soapbox articles, usually one of two stereotypes comes to my mind. I can see her mouth moving..... 1) Bitchy overweight 45yr old housewife with curlers in her hair wearing a moo-moo. 2) Average-looking 35yr old who has moral obligation to better the world for her two young daughters. I know they come in all shapes and sizes.....In this case when I read the short rant, I was thinking of the #1 fat bitch in the moo-moo. |
