I'd have to say beets.  We had them almost every night, because it's all my grandparents seemed to be good at growing.  They, unfortunately, stored well so we had them all year long.  Since the whole thing could be eaten, our "salad" would be the greens, then the main meal would be the beets cooked in broth.  I'm not complaining about my mother, because she did the best she could.  She made sure, one way or another, we had meat for dinner at least once a week.  It's just that the idea of eating a beet, even 55 years after I moved out, makes my stomach hurt.

So, what was your least favorite food your mother made?z

Meatloaf.  I've always hated it.

Pork chops.  She made sure to kill anything in the pork that would make us sick.  Bone dry!

Mexican Pie, it was so bad, the dog wouldnt eat it!  Other than that, both my mother and my grandmother are award winning cooks.  Fortunatly I learned from both of them, so I should make a a good husband to some future wife. :)
