I just love how every doomer prediction (including our very own arfcom economic doomers) comes and goes with nary a bit what was 'supposed" to happen.

Not this one.
On New Years Day I'm sending a copy of the original article to any news outlet I can reach, including the fucktards who posted it on their blog.

Current events. IIRC the methane caltrates are the same ones that almost doomed us in the Event horizon ' deebockle'. All of that methane melting, almost collapsing the ocean floor and, then, escaping into the atmosphere from- 'gasp'- the oil spills.... oh noes......

Here's a thought...

How many people normally die every year on the planet?  Numbers range from 8-10 per 1,000 people on the planet.  If there are 6,000,000,000 people on the planet, then 60,000,000 people die annually (at 10 per 1,000).  That makes 120,000,000 dying in the next 2 years of natural causes.  According to the author, it would take a 67-fold increase to reach his predicted death rate.

Al Gore warned me about Global Warming, and Al Gore has a Nobel Prize.  Don't try & undermine Al Gore with that 'climate change" nonsense.  The only change is warming!  And the warming is global!

Let's say that this methane gets released and this whole process happens like the guy says it will.  These green guys act like it is a fact that carbon dioxide causes warming.  I am not so sure about that, and if it does not cause warming, then big fucking deal if permafrost melts.

Global warming is the biggest scam ever!

I still can not believe that people still believe in this bullshit even after all those emails from the scientists who studied it were hacked and showed emails from them saying in essence "Fuck...there is no global warming caused by us...we need to falsify everything and make it up!"

I guess that this is new news for the OP.  It takes newspapers three years to reach him.

I wonder if the John Stokes is the guy who owns the radio station and rants.

If you google the other person, of course, the famous person is not identified as famous by google.  I guess it must be a conspiracy.  Wrong forum.

Cool.

I figure this world has a few billion more people on it than it really needs.  Now, if the ones that die off are limited to

liberals, thieves,  "entitlement" worshippers, religious nutcases, and career politicians, plus anybody who won't lift a finger to better

himself when he has the opportunity to do so,  the it sounds like a perfect world in the making...once the stink fades away.
