Yeah....... that is right Beekeeper..... but I thought you only spoke to me cause I was having all those crazy womenz troubles and you felt sorry for me.......[I thought I read somewhere that the forum [b]"Elitists"[/b] could come down to the level of junior member trash once a year due to reasons of pity].

I don't think it's an issue of post count or "elitist" junk that people talk about. I have met a LOT of guys and they never hold any thoughts of "cliques" or "groupings" on the site, they are just GUYS. (And yes, I include GALS with my "guys" comment...)

The real issues usually stem from where things were posted and when. I also take responsiblity for the lack of responses lately because the site's speed becomes a factor in that.

Don't ever give up, I would welcome any and all comments via email and am willing to hear your complaints and see what we can do to fix them. I am not trying to sugarcoat anything, topic's attract attention, not names or frienships. I never look at the author of posts, but maybe that's just me...

I just wanted to take this opportunity to gratuitously boost my post number so I can get some respect.

Seriously, I've been on and off this board for a few years (remember Sturmgewehr? Since that went down)and have always got decent answers to my questions and felt that my posts were well-received. You just gotta give it a chance.

Besides, like I told one guy, you can't leave until you have 1,000 posts.

Guys, I e-mailed him to extend the proverbial olive branch, and received a nice reply. I then replied suggesting he read the numerous responses to his thread, and he indicated that he was not interested. I think it would be best to not bother with this thread any longer. He does not wish to be here, so no use begging. This is more his loss, so let's get back to the normal hate-mongering. [:D]

I was turned on to ar15 by a friend and have only posted about 50 times but I've been very happy with the site.

Granted, I take great pride in making sure my posts are relevant and worded well, but I haven't been flamed or yelled at. I don't know your particular situation, but I think this is a great site for the most part.

It's your choice but I think you could do a lot worse than ar15.com. BTW, I'm not a cop, but I'm an 82nd Airborne vet and have not sensed any negative vibes from the other people on the site.

Good God, NYP, I took your advice and read every post in his four threads. The first one was a riot! He obviously did not know Tom S.

The last three were posted in the middle of the night last night, and he was pissed that he only had a few responses by 0800. He is not a great loss, it would seem. [i]C'est le vis[/i]

1. Post around 2-3pm PST on the right days.
The Afterwork crowd and the "at work" crowd seems to be the most responsive and willing to help. The early morning and before-work crowd, the least. Mondays seem to get a lot of attention (bored people at work probably) and Sunday's not so much (people busy shooting, taking wife to store, taking boyfriend shooting, taking wife to shooting store, shooting store full of holes, shooting boyfriend full of holes, etc.)
