Done.  Still at 55/44.  When this went up for a public vote a couple years ago, the results map looked about like the Bush/Gore map.  10 counties and St Louis city voted against it.  104 counties voted for it.  Unfortunately, those 11 places have more people than the 104 that voted for it.

Hopefully this will pass and we will be allowed to carry concealed in our vehicles.  After that, maybe we can take another "sensible step" to borrow a phrase from the gun haters.  Only this time, a step in the right direction, toward shall issue permits for personal carry.

A lot of states are like Missouri.
The one or two biggest cities in the state dictate the laws for the entire state.
I would think those people would be more afraid of the gangs, thugs ect. than those in the smaller communities, but it is not so.
Maybe it is all the gangs and thugs that are showing up at the polls and voting'NO'when it comes to citizens protecting themselves.

56% yes

43% no

At this point.

It just amazes me that we didn't get CCW through last time (again no thanks to KC and ST Louis where you would think it would make most sense). It was so close. Hopefully the attitude has changed a bit and we can get it back on the ballot and passed.
