Today we received a visit from the security person for a company down the hall.  One of their employees saw one of our engineers carrying a machete in to the office this afternoon. She called from her car to inform them that an Asian was entering the building armed.  I have to acknowledge the security woman's handling of the situation.  It is good to see that some people do use common sense. She knows most of the people in the building and immediately came to our office, this guy is the only Asian in the building, just to confirm that one of our guys was the "armed person" before freaking and calling police.  She thought it was pretty funny that someone would freak-out over such a small thing.

It could have been much more interesting if this women had called the police since we do have a government LEO in our building on the same floor.
