Wait a minute, since when did it become frowned on to post news in the General Discussion Board?
Did I miss a memo or something?[:D] That's all I try to do on this Board - to post esoteric news stories from places most decent people wouldn't want to go! I mean a great deal of my day is spent hanging out at the Dubai News desk, the Islamic Wire Services, Itar-Tass online, GungaDin.online, and such other disreputable sites. Say it ain't so. The internet is a great way to keep up to date. In fact you will see stuff that won't be in print for a day or two. The Drudge report has great links to wire services.
What you won't find, and this is probably what you're talking about, is the local news. For that you have to find a web site for a local station, or better yet a newspaper. Even then, these run behind a bit. |

I will give you an example of my ignorance in action, thanks to having no TV, and no parents to tell me what happened (I recently moved into an apartment). Could be the "good people" of Sausalito are sending a message to the police to lay off with the parking tickets. I heard they charge $175 per car every 3 months for a parking permit to park on the street. And if you violate any parking laws, for instance waiting in the car in front of the grocery store with the motor on while you pick-up your wife, the meter maids are on you butt faster than one would think is humanly possible and they ALWAYS ticket.
As far as feng shui, I didn't know Jews were interested in that stuff. he he |
