The eyes look the same, but the nose looks different in the two pictures.  Especiallt near the tip of her nose.

She's an Afghan woman, leading an Afghan woman's life.

Boy, I'm glad I came in here first - I was just about to post that story from another site, but the MSNBC article is a whole mo' better!

I suppose that how females age in the Third World. Males don't fare any better.

I'd heard that most of the Taliban and Al Qaeda prisoners at Gitmo had tuberculosis, and some other Third World illnesses. Lice in abundance, as well.

We're looking at how things were, everywhere, until approximately the 20th Century.

Woman had four children, one of whom has already died.
