Is it just me, or did the quality of that "opera singer"'s rendition of "America the Beautiful" just leave you cold?

I'm not referring to the color of her skin, but DAMN I got angry listening to her butcher it, trying to "stylize" a standard.  It made me think of the times that I almost booed the national anthem, if it weren't for the fact that I show respect to the song, if not the singer.

If it wasn't for that, it would have been perfect.  Those lights damn near made me cry, and I guess I can admit that I did well up a little bit until she started singing.
