Off and on, we've all seen members, frequently new ones show their confusion over code of conduct problems. Probably due to the fact that they haven't read the thing. Here's my proposed solution:
(1) EVERY member, at the time of registration, goes thru a one-by-one checkoff of the forum rules.
(2) EVERY member undergoes the above on a periodic basis, interval to be determined. Say every 100 posts or 1 month, they must checkoff the rules to renew posting rights.
(3) Every existing member must do the checkoff procedure whenever the rules are changed and/or added to at their next sign-in.
This is no ultimate, final solution, but it might cut down on some unwitting mistakes. It sure as hell will eliminate lots of excuses and whining.
