How about updating the static and animated smilies selection.

There are a lot of custom ones that members have done that are easily worthy of putting it.

A lot of the current ones are lame and hardly ever used except in +1 threads where some dorks put all of the smilies into their post.
The "This thread is useless without pics" smilie comes immediately to mind as one that definitely should be added.

Also, a pop-up library like the animations one, except with thumbnails of some of the most popular thread pics... like the "Aww Jeez, not this shit again" guy, the Admiral Ackbar "It's a Trap!!", Eric Estrada "Youre a homo", and I'm sure there are a number of others out there that are frequently used enough to justify adding.
