Could we please have a EE sub-forum for amateur radio related gear? The number of ARFCOM hams seems to be increasing and would be well served by this change.

ARFCOM has a great bunch of Ham Radio operators I've had great luck in selling and buying here on ARFCOM, much more so than the ham forums like QRZ |

Considering the ham radio forum here is actually one of the best of all the ham forums on the net, solid info for both newbies and old timers alike without the good 'ole boys club feel; it should be a no brainer that a ham area in the EE should exist. I know I'd feel better buying and selling among folks here than the other sites....

Yes please. Right now there are two or three various EE forums you have to look through to find ham gear. Having a centralized location would be very helpful.

As a lurker in the Ham forums, I think this is a good idea as well (guess they know about me now
)I have never purchased anything on the EE, but if someone was selling the right transceiver for a new guy like myself, and I could find it easily in a forum dedicated to ham equipment... |
