How am I doing. I think I am doing good for only collecting for around a year. Was never a big whiskey drinker but something changed last year and I started to learn how to actually enjoy it and not just shoot it

I know I am missing some staples such as Blantons, Four Roses, etc.., but overall I am pretty happy with how it has grown. Right now I am enjoying Russel's as my usual go to. For the price, I have been very impressed with it. The JW Platinum was purchased on a sale while on the last cruise and I feel I got it at a great price and the Booker's was picked up last year before they raised the price.

Anyways.. here it is..

If you like them all you're doing great.  Don't need our approval.

for me, I'm not a big fan of bourbon so I have little of that.  And I have a lot more scotch than anything else.  Different tastes.

Not bad, a little heavy on the Crown Royal IMHO.

Is Russel's Reserve made by the Wild Turkey people?

The Crown is more for my Dad who is a big Crown fan.. I can take it or leave it. As far as the rest I enjoy them all.

Yes, Russel's is from Wild Turkey.

I can't build a collection.  It all gets drank too fast.

I'm ashamed of my "collection" right now.

Bottle of:

Jameson
Maker's 46
Captain Morgan Spiced Rum

.

That's just for this weekend right?

I find it hard to "collect" a whole lot.  I drink it to fast.

But I do have more than 3 bottles.

I'm seeing a few hundred dollars of whiskey in fragile glass containers stacked on a $15 wobbly plastic shelving unit.  Well, it's not like partaking in the whiskey on that wobbly shelf could impair your coordination or balance or anything and make the $15 shelving unit seem like a bad idea in a moment of inebriated clumsiness.
