Henry McKenna Single Barrel Bottled in Bond.

Excellent stuff and a 10 year age statement- oaky but not overwhelmingly so. Great stuff as I continue to toast to Supreme Court justice Kavanaugh!

Maybe the first bottle I had was a bad one but to me it tasted like it had been filtered through dirt. I may have to give it a 2nd chance.

Old Fashioned made with Knob Creek and some Elijah Craig sugar cubes we picked up at the Heavenhill distillery last weekend.  (Living in Kentucky does have a few perks)

It can certainly be a roll of the dice with single barrels. I've had 3 bottles from two different barrels and have been very pleased.

1st a glass of Elijah Craig Barrel Proof we picked up at the distillery a few weeks ago, then a bit of Old Weller Antique 107. Kentucky still has it going on for some things.

I had an Altos Plata margarita earlier, which I didn’t like as much as 1800.  Now I’m sipping on some 1792 Small Batch.

Just had a double dirty vodka martini with Star Blu and two olives on the rocks, stirred.  I think it evaporated.........

I have an explorer 12pak of Leinenkugels that has no fucked up shandy shit in it.  I will probably hit that soon.

I can't wait to find a B517. That's the batch that was named Whisky of the Year. Everything I've had so far from other 2017 and 2018 batches has been so damn good, that batch must be heaven sent.

I love this stuff. Was in a rural town last week and stopped at my honey hole liquor store that carries stuff I can’t find in the metro area. The wholesale distributer sales rep came in and he was able to order me another 750ml and a 375ml. Picked them up today.

Eagle Rare.

Should my next purchase be Blanton's?  I just started drinking whiskey a couple months ago.  I've had Elijah Craig, a Japanese Whiskey, Balcones's Baby Blue, and Eagle Rare.  My favorite by far has been the Baby Blue.
