Mine too, but so few are done well. I like this one a lot. The orange strap might be a bit much. Thinking of going black.

That works, this feels like a little too much orange at times.

I'm not actually wearing it yet because it just arrived, and I feel too crappy to either resize the bracelet or throw it on a strap. $99 including shipping and tax from ShopHQ using discount code SAVE20.

That's awesome, great mods. I've got my first Vostok on the way right now from Russia. A 420 scuba dude. I'm interested in the shark mesh straps, what strap do you have on there?

An old Fossil chrono I had sitting around, again, needed a new battery. It’s sporting a handmade baseball glove strap that I picked up on eBay. The metallic blue of the dial suckered me in when I saw it at a pawn shop.

I've looked at those, how do you like it?

I'd love one with a black dial and green bezel or a blue dial and black bezel.

I enjoy my green one more than I should for the $60 price tag.  I like watches above 40mm so the extra girth over normal sized sub clones is nice.

My new Glycine GL0122 is getting a lot of wrist time lately. It's a heck of a lot of watch for the $279 I paid.

Bang for the buck they are hard to beat.

I'm wearing my Steinhart OVM today, which exceeds the price cap by a good amount - about double, so I won't post it to this thread,

Cheap Chinese homage to the Omega Seamaster 300 Spectre. Took off the NATO and put a buffalo hide strap on it.

It’s a knockoff if an Omega with a stupid name on the dial, but it’s incredibly well made. Wish I ordered with a sterile dial, maybe I’ll grab one of them as well and see which I like better. I got the Miyota version.

Like the Rolex Milgauss? Not ARFCOM rich?

Parnis and Bliger make a “homage” that won’t break the bank. Again, I’m pretty impressed for $70 shipped. Stainless steel, sapphire crystal, auto movement, screw in links. I should have bought the Parnis version for another $20 just for the name on the dial. Still, I’m quite pleased for $70.

Lume on these watches is typically shit. I'll know in the morning. It just came out of quarantine. Ordered six weeks ago and been sitting untouched in a bag next to my desk for two weeks just to be safe.

Edit... I see you were asking about the Phlyida and not the Bliger.

Its crap loom, maybe about 30 minutes of decent visibility and crappy for about another 30 minutes.

what do you want for less than $90 shipped, $70 with the DG movement?

You could always relume the hands and indices if you have a steady hand.

Oh I get it, I'm just a lume junky.
And my hand is a little steadier than Michael j fox so that's probably out.

I haven't really been keeping up but there's a long thread on WUS in the Affordable Watches forum. Hands should fit no problem, but the dial is larger than the standard Seiko aftermarket dials. IIRC a standard SKX007 crystal will fit.

Some are offered with sterile dials, but I hate dead space on the dial.

Just ordered this one for my birthday.
