I bought this Seiko right after they discontinued it. Liked the color. I didn't really like the rubber straps so I ordered this (Strapcode?) off of Amazon. My jeweler was really impressed with the quality of the bracelet as it has some kind of spring loaded pins that he says are really quality. It was cheap as hell but I really dig it. Just wish I could hand wind it occasionally. https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/70083/20200214_204259-1276547.jpg View Quote |

MB-Microtec made the original USGI Stocker and Yale P650 pilots watch and the very similar original Navy Seals watch for Luminox, both with composite cases. In the early 2000s they started making their own version under the Traser name with the P6500, and also made versions in stainless steel (P6502 & P6504) and titanium (P6506). This was a limited edition P6504 with PVD coated stainless case, screw down crown, and sapphire crystal. I only wish I could get fresh tubes installed. |

My 2005 Zodiac Seadragon, I bought new 15 years ago and it keeps fantastic time. It gets worn more often than most others in my collection. https://i.imgur.com/rvAXBbl.jpg View Quote |

This is what's on my wrist most weekdays. I have a couple, and may buy a couple more, just so I don't have to change bands.

Random thought: What would you guys think about an affordable watch pay it forward type exchange? I’m sure we all have at least one cheap watch that we could pass on for another.
Rules would have to be set up, of course. But I think it could be a lot of fun. |

I like that, I just really wish they would drop the day complication. Ruins what would otherwise be a buy now for me.

Broke my leg at work and have been sitting around. Decided I would cut some straps out of a large piece of leather and dye them black.
I have never done leather work before and have no proper tooling. Overall, they suck. I like the look to be honest but the stitching is crap and I stitched it too far up where it is in the lugs. They are comfortable though. I think they will be usable once a redo the stitches. Attached File Attached File Attached File |
