I got this Nodus Trieste

And decided I really wanted a Retrospect too.

I haven’t decided on which I like better yet, so I’ve basically been rotating them every other day. Guys at work, if they’ve noticed, probably think I’m some sort of psycho.

Got one at the Benning bookstore in the 80s's, and had to get the balance wheel resprung every time I dropped it on a hard floor. Hamiltons weren't very shockproof. The plastic issue campers were far more durable.

Shame they were like that, it moved on, as did the Gerber Mk II I got there. Collectibles are nice but they tend to run short of utility in a daily rotation.

I'm jealous, I really like the square/rectangle cases...very beautiful. Is that a Tissot TXL Chronograph Silver Dial Quartz Men's Watch T061? I must be weird, I'm not feeling it for the Rolex watches here. Most definitely prefer Hamiltons, Tissots, Orients, Breitlings and Citizens.

Yes, Tissot TXL I tried it on and liked it. First square/rectangle watch I've had. I own a few Rolex's, a Omega and some other "higher end" Swiss pieces, but I really like the Tissots too. Good value for the money.

The diameter to height ration is fantastic on the 48s.

I think they would sell like crazy with better Lume at their price point.

Mid ‘40s Universal Geneve. Picked it up cheap a few years back but don’t know much about it and never wear it.  Am comsidering finally getting it serviced. It currently gains about four hours a day.

I think I want to get a vintage watch for my next one, but I think that would be insane as well.  4 hours a day isn't bad
