Wife and I are considering a stay at the depot BnB next month.  I'll knock out a few dives while there.  

Anyone here been to either?

I've heard from a punch of people it's not worth it.

I've heard that of the first few trails. But they're  tickets that must be punched to get to the advanced trails.

It was more than that. You have to haul gear down a boatload of steps. If you make a reservation you can't change it for ANY reason. I've heard of a couple of instances of this, one was on a FB group, the other was from people I know. Guy needed to change date due to having to go into the hospital for surgery. Bonne Terre refused to allow guy to change reservation even with documentation. He lost his money for original reservation. To rebook, he would have to pay again. Facilities are somewhat cruddy, I'm also told.

Bonne Terre has gone- pardon the pun- downhill over the last several years. Not really worth the time and money.
