Oh you're in Fargo? I was just up there a couple weekends ago hunting. Stopped in at Kilstone Brewing, they make some pretty good beer.https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/199178/WP_20171007_015-328719.jpg View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I will be brewing this weekend, a blond ale mini mash kit assembled by the local brewing supply store. I have a Two Hearted ale clone bottled, and a Cervesa kit in the fermenter.
I about ran out of homebrew! I have bottles everywhere. I gotta get busy. |

First brew day after moving to South Texas. A no-boil no-chill strong sour saison. Also, this might be my last 5 gallon batch, moving up to a 10gallon system ASAP

Brewing another Kolsch today since the weather is nice and I have a 029 yeast cake to dump it on.
|
|
Brewed another ESB today. That gives me four beers. Enough for four once a month trips to the cabin (since I can't drink beer) Figured I'd get some done before the cold weather really sets in here. Might sneak in one or two this winter if there's a warm spell.

Not brewing, but related. I put a saison into the fridge to cold crash before bottling, added raspberries to another. Planning 3 recipes and seeing what I need to buy to hopefully brew 3 new batches next week. 2 saisons that will get fruit, and a big high gravity Belgian of some sort. I have a pack of WLP 545 I need to use

3 gallons of juicy juice apple juice, 4 lubs table sugar. OG 1.14. Using Lalvin EC1118 yeast. Just got finished putting it in the "brew room."
This weekend will be the Bells two hearted ale clone. |
|
Have Two Hearted ale clone in the fermenter at 80 degrees. Will pitch the yeast slurry probably tomorrow.
Oh, I finally got an O.G. 1.07. IF it attenuates to 1.01 like the last two batches it will be 8% ABV. |

Nice here today so I decided to sneak in a brew day. Making my CAP and will ferment with lager yeast this time. That yeast cake will then be used for a SMaSH Helles.
ETA, the lager is now in the fermentation chamber @ 52* Going to try to get the Helles in next month, then a real Oktoberfest. |
|
Did the BB American pale ale today, will pitch yeast starter tomorrow. Added some orange peel and ground coriander, about .5oz each.

|
Bottled my Stout today. Alcohol reads 6.17%.
Should be pretty good. |

Local brew shop had a special on an oatmeal stout kit. 30 bucks. Brewed the mini mash version today. Smells wonderful.

Bottled my raspberry, brewed a saison that's now sitting on peaches and apricots, brewed a Belgian dark braggot, brewed a Key lime pie beer

|
Brewed B B Scottish ale today, added some LME to up the ABV from 3% to 6%, plus added half an ounce of hops.

Bottled the malted oatmeal stout yesterday, and the Scotch ale "90 shilling" today.
Gonna try to brew a Belgian white tomorrow, or maybe the cervesa, depending on outside temp. |

Edit: Yep, have started the Belgian. Mini mash in the kitchen. Too cold for the garage. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes |

Sucks, don't it? Another good thing about kits; doable in the kitchen easier than all grain brews. Wifey does bitch about the smell however.
Edit: She didn't say anything today about the smell. NOBODY will ever understand woman. We had our 42nd anniversary the 27th. Today is one of the few days she has shut up. About anything. |

Happy Brew Year guys! This afternoon, while I watch the Sooners whip the Dawgs, I’ll be brewing a Budweiser clone.

Going to be picking up a small chest freezer this week along with a controller ! I’ll brew another Hefeweizen and then an IPA!

Brewed the BB Mexican Cerveza kit today. I think next I will do the two hearted ale clone without the dry hop. I will call it "half hearted ale," or "have farted ale."
Next weekend probably. |
|
Didn’t brew as my brew closet is full and no more carboys at the moment, but I did buy 2 more 5 gallon kegs and a temp controller !

Brewing something different today. A Pale Lager. Nothing but Golden Promise malt and Hallertau hops. Wanted to try something other than Pils.

I have the ingredients for a double IPA and I was supposed to brew it this past weekend. However the duck hunting was hot and the wife was not going to let both happen.

Brewed my experimental cream lager today. That just about fills up my pipeline. Had to get ahead of the game a little since lagers take so long. I only need one finished keg per month.
