Martin Yan, yeah, he was awesome, used to watch him when I was a kid, he was on a local PBS station when I was around 12, and I called up, and he answered my question on air! That was cool....
So he's been around for a long time.
My Wife's maiden name is Yan....but absolutely NO RELATION! I figured when I started dating her, "cool, come home to General Tso's chicken, garlic chicken, Mongolian beef", yeah, no, she can hardly cook rice!
I do all the cooking, and I cook way better Chinese than she can...I made my Fathers Day feast...pork and leek dumplings, red braised pork belly, braised short ribs and rice...it was good!
Ming Tsai is great, AB goes without saying...
Anyone remember The Two Fat Ladies? Those two old English broads who rode the motorcycle and side car? They always cracked me up...
