I have seen other people post things showing past flight tracking history, but I can not recall where or how they got the data. I have played around on FlightAware and the ADS-B Exchange, but can't figure out how to find past data. I am trying to look for an unknown plane that took off from the Hinckley Airport in Ogden, Utah on Friday afternoon between 3 and 4 pm and was flying around the Ogden area.

A buddy was telling me about this jet he saw flying around and wasn't sure what it was. He describes it as looking like a P-38, but it was a jet, not prop. He is certain it was twin engine, with a fuselage / tailboom profile like the P-38, and all black. I guessed a Vampire, as I have heard there is one at that airport, but after looking at some pictures he does not think it was a Vampire. I sent him a picture of a Adams A700, but he said it was not one of those either.

I am really thinking it was a Vampire, but figured you guys might be able to throw out some other ideas too.

Any help on finding what was flying around the area Friday afternoon, or other guesses would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Unless he was on a flight plan (also depending on what type of equipment he has on board), you may not be able to find it.

Used to be able to pull up historical on FlightAware, but now a paid service.
