Only sport the Ray Bans when I am flying.  Otherwise cheap Walmart specials or I have some tinted safety glasses I wear on occasion.

The only unpolarized lenses I can find seem to be Aviators.

I had some Bolle mountaineers I loved but they discontinued.

I have promised to never again pay for expensive sunglasses.

I lose and break them waaaaay to often to in any way justify the expense

Oakleys in the airliner, and a visor when wearing a helmet.

I'm the same way, but I can totally feel the difference in fatigue between cheap and worthwhile glasses at the end of a long duty day.

I'm rocking these: http://www.dualeyewear.com/aviation-styles/dual-nv1.html

Hate to say it, but when you get old you have to do what you have to do...

My dad wore the same style. I also like them because they stay on my face.

Ray Ban RB8029K 040KN3 58-14 Aviator Ultra's

They work great, especially in the Flight Levels.

I wear nothing but AO and Randolph Aviators.

I have some modern aviators from Oakley that my dad got for me, they don't look classic standard, a bit of a modern twist, they look kind of cool.

I've got a couple of pairs that I've had forever, but don't wear them anymore.  I found some non-polarized RayBans a few years ago that I like better.  I bought two pair, and already managed to lose one and they've now been discontinued.

I wore RayBan 3030 Outdoorsman with cable ends every second I was outside during daylight hours for over 25 years.

I stopped wearing them about 5 years ago once I required bifocal corrective lenses to fly.

I still wear them doing yard work, just not to drive and fly.

I have a set of cheap gas station aviators that I wear if I'm riding in the jumpseat. Those little green tinted sun shades don't really help much in that seat. I haven't had to ride up front in a few months though.

When I wore glasses for almost 35 years, I had Ray-Ban aviator frames because they were lightweight and looked decent.
Even after my laser surgery I still wore Ray-Ban aviators.
Last month I bought a pair of Randolph sunglasses, and for not too much more than the Ray-Ban sunglasses, I have something much better.
My uncle was an optician, and he used to complain about the prices of frames back in the early 80's.  He'd really be going ballistic now over prices.

Every flight. Been with me on three continents.

Good enough for my Grandpa in WW2 and Pan Am. Good enough for me.

Got a couple pairs.  Ray-Bans, and Serengeti.  Neither are comfortable, so I never wore them. Got some Oakleys, and they are better, but still uncomfortable.  So I never really wore them, either. Basically, I just don't like glasses.  The all suck, so I never wore any eye protection, while with the airlines.  I did like the visor on my helmet, though.

Bifocal Ray-Bans with a gradient tint when I fly.  I like not looking through tint when I'm looking inside the cockpit.

Bought a $10 polarized pair at Walmart for fishing. They were surprisingly the least ugly pair they had on hand

They aint broke so I still wear em

No need, have a visor on the HGU-55/p.

After spending an hour looking at prescription sunglasses, and picking out a pair of aviators I liked, the optometrist told me I have too great of an astigmatism for sunglasses due to the curve of the lens.

So it's find a pair of regular glasses and equip with tinted lenses, or buy a set of clip-ons, though my regular glasses are low-profile. Not a fan of fitovers either.

Been wearing them since '65, see no reason to change.
And the ones from Eddie Bauer have a lifetime guarantee!

I find the visor on the 55p and my JHMCS to be rather lacking.  When going cross-country, crossing the pond or just skimming the cloud tops, I'll throw a pair of sun glasses on below my visor.  Especially needed on those east bound, crossings to Europe when you're trying to tank while staring straight into the sun.

I like Randolphs with the bayonets. Timeless and appropriate.
