My buddy gave me a cob and a little bent briar and It kinda took off from there. Here also gave me back the pipe I smoked years ago back in college. I started adding to my collection buying what I could find a deal on and what I liked the style of. Then I started restoring pipes for fun. I love buying tired old briars for cob money and bringing them back. As for the styles, I'm definitely a fan of Canadian style pipes and billiards. I think straight pipes are best for novices and just the easiest to smoke. I’m starting to collect more bent pipes. Between the pipes, the different blends and restoring lighters it’s been a fun hobby relaxing hobby. I’m doing my best to keep from getting back into cigars but I’m slowly losing the battle. |

Stopped by Boswell's over the weekend while camping. Grabbed an oz of Military Force to try. Not back. Kinda like Northwoods, but a bit sweeter. In a Boswell's nosewarmer of course!

Forgive me Arf Humidor, for I have sinned. It has been 11 years since my last pipe purchase. The "Arfcom Curse" finally struck, and I'm looking to do a little more smoking (previously smoked pipe and cigar a few times a week, until I got married).
Current lame pic: Peronelli of some flavor, Borkum Riff, Ultra CDP-II, and an arfcom approved face mask. Attached File |

Definitely interested in trying some other varieties, but no decent smoke shops nearby. I tend to like cavendish and vanillas; not a fan of the fruity flavors. Any recommendations that are available online? |

I’m a fan of quite a few of the Boswells blends he has an Aromatic Sampler that is quite nice and several of the blends ring the boxes you seek. I personally really like Hunters Choice and it’s my typical all the time smoke. It’s a nutty smoke I liken to Nutella a 1oz bag is included in the previously mentioned sampler. Seven Seas Original from macbaren is a good vanilla. |
