Wife got me a sampler box and a humidor for my B-day. It had a couple Ghurkas that I liked. I just ordered 10 assorted Ghurkas...I'm a pure newbie to Good Cigar's. I've reached that point in my life where I am going to start enjoying the good stuff in life...

This is the first candela I will be trying, but I couldn't pass up the price on the box. I like the normal Black Market, so hopefully I will enjoy these. The Isla del Sol was surprisingly good, very sweetened tip, but it wore off quick and starting in the 2nd third the coffee infusion taste picked up. |

Gearbox special arrived today. Cool little box and little metal gear rings, I didn't know a 10-pack was actually a box. I really want to try one but they probably need to spend a day or two in the humidor.
ETA: Well for all the good stuff I keep hearing about the flatheads, the gearbox was pretty meh. Not bad but just boring. The first half lacked any flavor at all and then I started getting little hints of an earthy, leathery flavor, but not much. At $3.90 each I guess they were okay but I'm not going be buying any more. |
