I am trying to run a 3/4" pex water line to my manifolds in my addition. My meter is attached in a loop to this thing. It looks like a compression fitting on top to the 1/2" line that runs to the house. Can i attach a tee to the garden hose looking attachment on top?

It must be one unit with the meter attachment.
