Anyone else looking forward to this movie? I thought the last 2 were great and came out much better then I anticipated. The following is an artical I found on IGN:

X3's Lab Chase Sequence
Juggernaut versus Shadowcat.
by Steve Head

February 28, 2006 - A pivotal character in X-Men: The Last Stand is Leech (played by Cameron Bright), a young boy who can nullify the powers of any mutant, if they get close enough. Magneto, as he is often inclined to do, sees the practical application of bringing a young mutant with such abilities into his corps. So it is decided: the boy must be kidnapped, and quickly... But it won't be easy (is it ever?) because the boy lives under tight security at Worthington Labs, where scientists are trying to figure out what makes him tick.

To nab Leech, Magneto calls on his new go-to man, Juggernaut (played by Vinnie Jones). But will he be fast enough? The good guys think not. So Shadowcat, a.k.a Kitty Pride (played by Ellen Page), gets the call to find Leech first. What you'll see in X-Men: The Last Stand is a chase sequence in which Kitty phases and Juggernaut smashes through the walls of Worthington Labs.

"It should be very cool," visual effects supervisor John Bruno (Titanic) tells IGN FilmForce. "Kitty's running as fast as she can, trying to stay one step ahead of Juggernaut, and they've got concrete debris shooting-out from the sides and on top of them."

The way producer David Gorder sees it is: Juggernaut "builds momentum and he's unstoppable. Vinnie has just the right personality for the character. He's an amazing actor to work with and people are going to really fall in love with Juggernaut as a bad guy. And obviously Kitty's after [Leech] for a different reason than Juggernaut's after him. Ellen Page, she's amazing. [Director] Brett [Ratner] calls her the female Edward Norton. She's just an incredible actress. We're very excited for her to play Kitty."

The production spent almost a week shooting the sequence under the watchful eye of second-unit director Simon Crane (Tomb Raider 2, Terminator 3). "Simon's very careful, especially when we have projectiles flying around like we do on these sets," Gorder tells IGN FilmForce. "It's safe, but you always have to be careful around things like this. He really knows how to orchestrate action like this safely."

For the sequence, stunt doubles Jovan Nenadic (Juggernaut) and Lani Gelera (Kitty Pride) run through a succession of lab sets, as Styrofoam concrete and other debris is shot from air cannons. As the scene is filmed in live action, Kitty runs through existing holes in the walls, which will later be digitally filled to look as though Kitty is phasing through them; then Juggernaut follows, smashing his way through - this, of course, will be also digitally enhanced.

The sets are "built like puzzle pieces and they have breakaway walls," says Gorder. "Breakaway material, like Styrofoam, so that's easy for a stunt performer to go through. They've already shot elements of where the walls have exploded when Juggernaut then runs through, and one hole in the wall is the final breakthrough. We've already shot the scene in the final chamber, or the final room, where Juggernaut and Kitty end up."

The irony of this unusual chase sequence is it pits the bad guys' biggest mutant against the good guys' smallest. "They both have just very different methods of getting where they have to go," says Bruno. "I've seen some of it already and the shots look beautiful. It's one of those things where you really just haven't seen a running chase like this. It's stunning."

ETA: The only thing that really bugged me about X2 was the fact that Colossus did not have a Russian accent. Looks like he will be in X3 as well so we'll see what's what.

Have had loud, rude or drunk people in the last 3 movies I went to. But I am pretty sure I will still see this one in a theatre.

Saw the new preview on "24" last night, looks great!

I think it will be the last movie from Xmen, and that makes me sad I like the Xmen/comic movies

Not a huge fan Brett Ratner's work, though Red Dragon was ok.

Brian Singer did very good job of creating the proper mood and darkness. I hope Ratner was paying attention and doesn't go off and change things too drastically.

We'll see.

Should this one include a spoiler warning in the title? It is revealing some story.

Looking forward to the film though.
