Hey guys and gals.... I was just given a three year old Samsung TV (Model LN-S3241D).

The issue with it is that any video source will degrade on the screen. The Picture starts off nice, bright, and clear and slowly degrades to a dark black image in which you can barely see anything. Total time for the problem to begin is about five minutes.

If I'm running a DVD player and it happens and I turn off the DVD player but not the TV. The image comes in bright and clear once I turn the video source back on again and the screen image will degrade again. Tried different DVDs, video game systems, signal inputs for cable TV (Cable box, direct coaxial cable feed, etc....) I don't turn off the TV to reset it.

What would be the goes of this and what is the possible fix. This TV didn't cost me a cent so if I can get it working for free or cheap works for me.
