My wife worked at a Catholic school a few years ago, and for convenience sake enrolled our son at the school (he was 8)- it was one of the few perks.

He was unsure about changing schools, but only had one real issue- the dress code (uniforms).

It specifically said that shoes had to be closed-toe, so that meant no sandals.

The weather was warm so he wanted to wear his Teva sandals, but was reminded of the dress code by my wife.

My son changed into sneakers, but had to state for the record:

Jesus wore sandals.

Edit...active topics surfing.  Didn't realize it was the religion forum.  I feel like a heel.
