Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Need advice on two vehicles / Volvo & Mercedes

Am looking at two used vehicles for sale.

1) 1996 Volvo 850 ,4D sedan , non-turbo , one owner , 56K miles

2) 1998 Mercedes C230 , 4D sedan , one owner , 47K miles

Both never wrecked

Any advice on eather is helpful. I have never owner eather brand or any luxery car.
Have read on-line reviews on both and they seem like good , safe cars.

I have no Knowlege about Mercedes other than parts are expensive.

Volvo's are tough cars my son owned one and it was built like a tank. Be careful though You will soon be wearing birkenstocks and putting "Visualize World Peace" bumperstickers on it. We scraped one of those off of it.
