Hey. Anyone own a Triumph 955 Daytona? I'm thinking of buying one of these soon, and am interested in rider feedback of any type.

thanks!

Triumph955i had(I can't remember if he sold it yet) a yellow one(it was his avatar.)

There is a member named Daytona955ibut I don't know if he owns a bike.

Edit-you might want to IM Triumph955i.

Triumph's depreciate like day old chinese food. LIterally drop in half once you drive off the lot. Never buy a used one. They STILL have fuel and electrical problems. Every one i know that has had one liked the way it looked and rode, but they ALWAYS got stranded at least once from something fuel or electrical related and they could never get rid of the bike because they are worth nothing on the used bike market.
It's too bad, cuz they look cool and that big triple is a really neat smooth engine.
But, i wouldn't touch one.

My Adventurer has been absolutely flawless. It's a '99 and carb'd so it isn't comparable to a new Daytona by any stretch. The depreciation is the reason I bought it. I got a 2 yo flawless 885cc cruiser with with 2200 on the clock for $5,000.00. I'm happy with mine. I haven't been stranded yet and have ridden every season since '01.
