Snap On sells the exact same jack under the Blue Point name for $300 more, and I assure you it's complete junk. (Don't ask me how I know
)
For about a month, it took five pumps to get it all the way in the air. Now it takes atleast twenty, and that's even after bleeding it. Anything over a thousand pounds and it usually comes back down to the ground on it's own over a minimal amount of time.
On a side note, their mini jack which is rated at 70 pounds has lifted my 180 pound ass up about 100 times with out batting an eye.
ETA: I guess if you don't rely on it to put food on the table every day, it might not be that bad. As a real life rating, I wouldn't try jacking up more then 2000 pounds. Harbor Freight might warrant it as well, even though the Snap On/Blue Point model has no warranty.
