You don’t have to use a hosting site. You can add them straight from your phone.

I was headed to a bigger one but saw this:

"Windmills"

If these are good to go, the next target is a dam. Bonus points if you can get a hydropower plant in the photo too.

Awesome!

Best shot I could get of the damn dam. It does have hydro but couldn't get a good angle. If it is acceptable next I would pick anything "giant" related as in bigger than average size. Giant chair, ball of yarn, statue, etc...Attachment Attached File

Nice! I like the "giant" suggestion. Will have to do some thinking on what's around my area tomorrow.

Going out today as well.

I know where a huge chair is in "Chair City", but it is on the highway no way to get a pic.

Great challenge though, somebody is going to be near that big ball of yarn lol

Ladies and gentlemen, I present you with the world's largest jackalope (I think) in Douglas, WY. They also have a former world's largest jackalope in a park a few blocks from here!

Edit: Here's the former largest

In anticipation of doing one of these I started a list of what had already been done.
Quite a list so far.

The photo in the OP was a covered bridge
Boat ramp
Railroad crossing
Competitive motor sports facility (drag strip, race track, mx track, etc)
Horse, horse farm, horse track, horse boarding, etc
Bike with a snowplow. There MUST be snow in the frame *** Was never done
How about a town's sign showing a population of less than 50 250?  *** Was never done
Your bike next to any sign.
Bakery
On a ferry
Static military display
Race track or drag strip
State or National Park sign
Your bike and a large aircraft
Let's see a machine shop. lathes, mills, stuff like that. Dont have to see the machines, the sign on the wall etc is enough.
An observatory, or if because Covid, the entrance to an observatory
A statue of some kind
Oldest building you can find that is still being used.  Must be at least 100 years old or older.
A body of water
Wild flowers
Phallic symbol *** was done but not really a challenge
A giant tree
A road sign (directional, advertising, exit), mile marker, or something posted that has "87" in it.  It doesn't have to be 87 exactly, just has to contain "87"
Your bike in front of cows
your bike and a cactus
dive bar/ restaurant
microbrewery
motorcycle dealer
blue mail box (USPS drop/collection box)
Lumber mill/factory/Sawmill/logging site
A tiny, small town government building, such as a really small post office, city hall, etc.
Your bike and a flowering tree
Your bike and sheep
A distillery
something prehistoric
your bike under a bridge.  Extra credit if it's under a bridge and there's a 2nd bridge in the picture.
a waterfall
your bike in front of an old-time gun shop
a windmill
the next target is a dam. Bonus points if you can get a hydropower plant in the photo too.
anything "giant" related as in bigger than average size. Giant chair, ball of yarn, statue, etc...

Next target: Your bike at a lighthouse.

I figured it can't be that hard to find one if a guy in Wyoming can think of one within a few hours ride time.

Totally NOT my thread but If i understand the nature of it- i think that there is no rule against repeats.  Just have to take a new/different photo every time.
More an excuse to get out and ride.  Maybe the OP can chime in for clarity.
@ORARGB

P.S. Guzzi has been down for a bit, should be up and running this week.

I was just making a list so that I would be able to come up with something different. No rule that I know of for repeats.

Can we do a choice ?

Like I was really curious to see an observatory which somebody said no go after a week.

Challenge be an observatory OR a elevation sign over 2k ft for example.

Repeats need to be ok or it becomes a royal pain after the thread grows to 10 or 15 pages. IIRC nobody cared about them in the past.

That was me.
TN-MadDog was making a list of targets and i extrapolated on why. (maybe he's making his own scavenger hunt ride list, IDK)

BTW repeats are OK with me. So long as we go out and ride.

I bought the new battery today, should be out thurs, or friday.  Rock on, Brothers!

Can we do two targets, one obscure and one more obtainable ?

I'm just going to do it anyway because I already asked the question lol

Seriously, I think some flatlanders would like to see a pic of someone's bike at an elevation sign above 10k ft, but there are only a few places in the US where that could be done.
