Stopped at Folsom lake on my way to the Rubicon area today.

Next your bike at least 5 miles from you house in shitty conditions,  rain/snow/flooded/super cold/hot ( post thermometer reading ) whatever you got,  it just has to suck badly.  I want to see why you guys don't ride in the " off " season.

Damn today would have been a perfect day for this. The wife and I took a nice cruise Friday when it was misting rain and 40 degrees. I might ride to work tomorrow- if I do I'll try to get in on this challenge.

Though I was gonna get the target today, but the weather cleared up quite nicely. Not my bike, was helping transport a friends about 60miles.

I rode mine to work today and it was 40*, but if I claim that I'll look like a huge puss. Especially since it'll be almost 70 when I ride home.

Im thinking about going to the motorcycle shop on lunch break. I'd like an inexpensive tank bag or small rear fender bag so I don't have to lug my backpack around all the time.

You're right,  you would look like a puss.

When I took this last year ( my bud Sean ) .  It was 36, the sun was just coming up and we had already done 90 miles in 1/4 visibility fog/rain.   We only had another 300+ miles to go to hit camp at the Oregon border. I was only wearing a T-shirt and Boxers under my suit.

Lots of shade during those sunny days makes it a cool looking tree.

Thinking of next target...

Edit: Target is your bike next to it's rival (or similar category).

For example:

Adventure Bike: Triumph Tiger with a Honda Africa Twin
Hypersport: Ducati Panigale with a Aprilia RSV4
Touring: HD Road Glide and Indian Chieftain
Youth bike: Honda Grom with a Kawasaki Z125

Dude, that's awesome!
You got like three major themes; You and your bike, nasty weather, curvy roads.  And if i may? i think you made a whole new one- sign in a tree.

ETA: that's gonna be my next target if it ever warms up enough to ride. (25* this morning)

Me and my wife made it to Nebraska Brewing co in Lavista NE.

New location pending. We'll pick one while we finish this beer.

ETA: New location: A "haunted" location in your area. Bonus points for the back story.

2900km from home... Somewhere between Swift Current and Moose Jaw Sask. 'Might not look that bad, but... It was 41 deg celsius or... 105 deg F.
For HOURS...
Riding with the windscreen in the down position just felt like having a hair dryer blowing in yer face...

1899km from home... Near Kenora Ont.
This was mild. It poured rain on my ass the rest of the ride home.

My mom is OBSESSED with Christmas. At least 1/3 of the things she owns are Christmas decorations. Not tacky - she's spent a lifetime collecting tasteful hand made stuff that really looks nice... but she has a shitload of it.

I sent her a text on 1 Nov asking if she had her Christmas decorations up yet, planning to reply "Why not? It's November!"

Except her response was a picture of the Christmas decorations

So there are trees out there...

When I was growing up, the general guideline was that Christmas decorations go up the day after Thanksgiving, and come down the day after New Years Eve. I still stick to that.

It is looking that way here, as well. Snow forecasted for most of next week. I don't know what they use to make the roads here in Germany, but they get slick as shit as soon as they get ANY moisture on them!
