This is my fifth or sixth year attending Le Mans and ever year only gets better and better! Saw some amazing race cars, as well as that of privately owned cars. I was only able to stay for six of the ten hour race but will be back again next year!

The race started off nasty with a rain/ mist mix and a very wet track.

This is the BMW that won the class I was watching the most.

I don't follow racing much...what is the electronic number on the side of the car?

It tells you the place of each car within their own respected class.

I've never seen that either.  Now I'm curious.

Is that Road America?

Its Road Atlanta, numbers indicate the cars race position in their own class.
