Edit: official reveal is today, 10/24. Probably around 6pm EST (edit again: supposedly 10pm EST now via Facebook Live)

Official reveal is next month but it seems some pics were leaked... some pics are missing a clutch lever so it seems DCT is a confirmed option.

Optional trunk?
Hopefully, more power, 6 speed manual, better mileage/range.

looks nice,  I would love to be two up again but these idiots on phones made me stop riding my bike

almost got hit a few times and run off road a few times.

just crazy

I may just get back on it but I want a sport touring set up,  more nimble.

Looks nice. Stopped riding 2 years ago. Have a 9 year old. When he gets grown I will ride again. Next bike will be a sport touring bike. My last Yamaha Roadliner was comfy 2 up.

Not even. $4k pretty easy, $6k all day long. (Unless you're only considering the silly NCs for some crazy reason. NAs and NBs are best.)

A new loaded Gold Wing costs more than all four of my current vehicles combined, 2 cars and 2 bikes.

Honda's 3rd gen DCT is alien technology.  Wicked good in all scenarios from city traffic to baby head littered goat paths.

Actually, it's fairly close to a normal, constant mesh, bike transmission except that it has a second clutch on the other shaft.

One clutch is engaged, driving first gear and connected to third gear, the second clutch is disengaged connected to second and fourth gear at the same time. At shift time, the first clutch disengages and the second clutch engages. Now the first clutch is disengaged and connect to first and third gears, while the second clutch drives second gear. In a conventional bikes Trans, it's the same bu only one clutch for both shafts.

It's a bit more complicated than that but that's the idea.

it'll just be an option. honestly in a bike like the goldwing meant for long haul highway miles DCT seems to make more sense to me.

Looks like they stole some lines from victory.

Looks like they got a big battle going on between this, Yamaha's Eluder, and many other brands...

This was my thought, too.

It reminded me of something I saw just a few days ago.  I saw a guy riding a bike with hard shell bags on both sides and one over the fender, a second seat, a fairing, radio blaring,...  It was sunny and hot (~100 F).  He was wearing boots, a helmet, some sort of heavy pants and a coat.  The bike was so big and so heavy he could barely get it around the right turn from a dead stop, having come to a full stop at the corner.

At that time, I thought to myself, if you have to have all that crap, just get a car.  Why bother with a bike?
