I like it a lot! I have a very similar truck, and was eyeing the coilover conversion but torn on it. Not much call for the "go fast" suspension here in NC, and considered a SAS on the truck, but have not decided on either. Where I am at now I can not really do the work here (rental house with no garage, which sucks, next house will fix that fo sho).

2004 Z71 on 315s, Ford keys and a Borla. Looking at possibly some go fast parts and suspension parts, the UCAs are maxed

Damn imgur, picture ain't working.

Thanks man. I just finished up putting Kings on the rear this weekend. Not much call for go fast stuff around here either but I really enjoy it. Your truck looks good

Thanks! I am liking that bed cage, I have seen a few like that (I think Mazilla sells one similar) and was thinking about a setup like that with some deavers for a little bit of lift and better ride/travel/overall use. Rear of mine is stock Z71 blocks, so those 315s are tight.

I dont really want to lift it much, but it needs some to help clear tires.

On top of the coilovers, what else do you have on the front? Im assuming heims UCAs, any steering upgrades?

Front has aftermarket upper control arms I modified to clear the coilovers and limit straps. Steering is currently still stock but I am going to get the JD Fab steering  asap. Rear is F87 Deavers and 2.5x14 Kings with the bed cage I built.
Front is getting King 2.0x2 hydraulic bumps installed this weekend hopefully.

HAHAHAHHAA

In before the "not a real truck"

I traded a 2017 Tacoma SR5 4x4 on this thing. And in every way that matters to me, this truck is superior. Rides better, MUCH more comfortable seating, smoother and tighter handling on the street. Quieter and peppier. It's also the top-of-the-line (equipment wise) so it has a ton of whizbang shit my Taco didn't have.

The things I didn't like about the Taco were the seating position and the transmission. I've done two major road trips this year in the Taco. One was about 2600 miles in a week, another was about 3500 in a little over a week and a half. My ass hurt, my arms were tired and I really didn't like how the transmission functions on the freeway. I'd deal with the latter bit by using sport mode to force it into a gear that would let me actually hold speed uphill or actually accelerate when I wanted to. Seating just couldn't be resolved. If the seat could lower just 1 inch, and the steering wheel telescope just one more inch, it might have been more tolerable. Also at barely over 30k miles, the Taco already needed new front shocks. The rear has always been undersprung and bottomed out on the smallest of potholes, even with nothing in the bed.

Anyway, the Ridgeline solves all of those issues for me, and it does everything I need it to. It's also got some pretty fuckin' slick features, like the trunk under the rear of the bed. I can fit my paramotor in it while disassembled.

So I'm sure people will be along to chime in about what my truck can't do that theirs can, and I only have to say this:

Whatever YOUR truck can do that MINE can't, are all things I have neither the need nor desire to do.

(it's also pretty funny that Edmunds rated the RL #1 out of all midsize trucks late last year. The Jeep Gladiator was #2 and the Taco #3)

Today I learned horsepower and rain do not mix!   I have been wanting a V8 raptor for a while and made it happen today.   It has a 6.2L supercharged engine that is downright scary!  I almost lost her twice on the highway heading in.

After a freak wheel failure last week, I found out that SOTA went out of business.  Got her all put back together and slapped on some Method NV’s and Toyo 37’s again.

19 Duramax LTZ.  I Just added the 285/65r18 Grabber ATXs and put 3 turns in the torsion bars.  Eventually I'll add Kings and a gooseneck ball in the bed.

Another step forward in blacking out my truck. Last few weekends I added the letters, removed the chrome badges, and this weekend added the black bumper caps.

All I have left is to change the lug nuts and color the chrome ring around the front grill.

Added some ditch lights tonight. Baja designs kit with their squadron pro lights.

If your looking to add lights to your ride Baja designs should be on your radar. Their kits are excellent, this is my second kit and the wiring is literally painless.  Their lights are incredibly bright, yeah they are expensive but when you get them and install them you will know why.

Few more better photos.
